George Dickel Rye

Aroma: light aroma overall; sweet maple and rye grass on the nose Palate: starts sweet with caramel and maybe a hint of lemon; comes in with rye punch and mixed peppery spices in middle; fades to sweet maple Finish: hints of sweet maple with mildy hot bite at end Overall: shockingly delicious and complex as a sipping rye for its price point

Nose: Brown sugar, orange, honey, caramel Taste: Brown sugar, cinnamon, oak, orange, honey, rye A nice daily sipper

Wonder value bottle of rye. Great for an old fashioned. Well done by MGP and Dickel.

Sweet, not complex, but certainly an acceptable entry level rye.

Palette: strong ethanol taste for such a low proof, but not terrible. The spice is nearly overpowering. Sweet and smokey notes are pleasant.
