George T. Stagg Bourbon (Fall 2020)

Nose: Big caramel, cherry pie tatsycake Palate: toffee, caramel apple, cherry Finish: Espresso

A lot of heat then just pure candy. Tastes of dates and toffee and nougat with molasses.

An outright monster of a pour. Big and bold nose, chocolate cherry bomb, careful nosing it because it’s a punch in the face. Ease into it so you don’t blow your sense of smell. Leather, oak, vanilla, spice on the palate. Rich, viscous mouthfeel. Warm, medium-to-long finish doesn’t take things in any new directions but does this bourbon justice by letting its character linger. One of the strongest Stagg releases in years.

Luxurious. Wow!

Dark chocolate, vanilla and a little tobacco and hint of mint. This is delicious!!! Wow. Never had it before. Worth the pour though I paid for a third of the bottle! Lol
