George T. Stagg Bourbon (Fall 2020)

I've had a couple pours of this and it is wonderful. A really great bourbon. Judging Kings vs their peers, it does have a wave of heat on the finish that washes out some of the beautiful subtleties that start blossoming on the finish. Again, this is judging Kings vs their peers and this is still a world class bourbon.

This was absolutely incredible. The nose was so sweet it was almost like honey. There was zero burn for it being 130.4 proof and the taste was so complex. Vanilla and oak on the front end with a cherry bomb on the back end. So lucky got a pour.

Tasting this multiple times at various venues this is seriously good

My first 5 I have given. Had this with a great friend on my 50th birthday and it was even better than I remember on my first two pours from this bottle. Bourbon perfection.
