Dark malty. Toffee caramel aroma with some oak. Deep almost musty flavor, slightly complex mixed with oak. Floral earthy tones, light sweetness. Medium to heavy richness, nice chocolatey tail. Lovely.

Great pour for a great price. Has lots going on at 46% and quite smooth in the palette.

Floral and nutty on the nose. Complex flavor profile starts with butterscotch and vanilla and fades into spicy chocolate. This is an easy after dinner scotch.

I have the 2018 bottling, which may not be quite up to par with newer versions. Still, a solid dram that’s a slight step up from the likes of GlenDronach 12, and is a solid 12-year sherry. The trick is finding it for a reasonable price, which may prove tricky…

Floral start with a mild sweet finish
