Glencadam was founded in 1825 and is the only active distillery remaining in the town of Angus. Despite its long history, the distillery's first single malt wasn't released until 2005 as it primary produces whisky used in blends for other brands. Exclusively aged in ex-bourbon barrels, this single malt is bottled at 46% abv without chill-filtration or added coloring.

Tasting Notes

"Traditional Highland aromas come through bright and clear along with some surprises: honey, tropical fruits, and maybe even some savory notes of smoked meat. The palate shows pineapple crème brûlée, mature wood spice, and some secondary flavors of malted vanilla milkshake. The finish is long and satisfying. "
