Glendalough Double Barrel Single Grain

Very mild flavors of fruit and sweetness, followed by a peppery alcohol burn. Mild lingering flavor, but mainly just a slight afterburner. Added two drops of water which didn’t really change notes significantly. Limited flavor from an obviously young whiskey.

Quite a sweet nose and taste. Vanilla and fudge aroma. Lot of orange notes. Caramel cooked apples and toasted spice. A very buttery and caramel taste. Some fresh fruity undertones. But sweetness dominates. A hint of lingering spice and oak to finish.
