Sharp w/late sting, subtle flavor, late caramel; could benefit from h2o. Deserves a nod for a pristine first experience (and everlasting memory thereafter).

Nose: very light and a bitter sweetness. Very potent nose as well which I didn’t expect. Bready too Palate: briny and salty almost. A little more basic than others I’ve had. Meaning the flavors to me are a bit more dull. Finish: pretty long. Bitterness that the 15 year isn’t quite there Overall: not bad. Better than a lot of other scotches I’ve tried. Good entry level I feel like

Basic. Nothing much here

Solid sherry type. Reminds me of Balvenie.

Bose is sweet vanilla and tobacco smoke. Taste is dark fruits vanilla and finishing off with more of an earthy taste.

Nose: ginger, chocolate, ripe dark fruits and a but of tobacco Palate: oak, vanilla, dark fruits, spicy cinnamon, and what is definitely raisins Finish: slightly bitter oak, light fruit, nuttiness and with this glass autumn leaves. Short but pleasant. Definitely worth the price for a sherried scotch, it's not quite a Sherry bomb but it hits all the right notes. I will say it evolves with time, the first pour is not the same as halfway through the bottle
