GlenDronach Original 12 Year

Great floral sweet in nose and taste smooth with fruity notes and vanilla great at palate

One of my favorites. Lots of sherry notes, dried red fruits, cocoa, vanilla. #WWD

Whiskey night 3rd place. As a scotch fan, I was surprised that this fell behind a bourbon and a rye. I seem to prefer sherry finishes when combined with some peat. For whatever reason that combo works well for me, so an unpeated sherried scotch falls a little flat for my liking. Still good, but wasn't the star of the show as I'd expected.

Nose: sweet, hint of vanilla. Taste: Sherry, a bit hot as you would expect for a 12 year. Finish: long. Spicy at the end. I think this is better, sweeter than Highland park 12.
