An interesting dram unlike any other Glenfiddich I’ve tried. Smokier, richer, but also a bit oily and chemical. It was worth the taste bc I’m glad they’re experimenting like this!
On a beach a night with a dry warm breeze which carries soft billows of campfire smoke and dark apples. Eating spiced rum cake.
Nose: Soft but forward Smoke with slight toffee
Palate: Initially strong highland peat, dark baked apples and sugarcane which bring a hint of sweetness
Finish: Moderate smokiness which is short and abrupt
