Glenfiddich IPA Experiment

Tasted at COTC whiskey tasting, can taste the slight bitterness of the hops, neat to try, but wouldn't buy.

Crisp honey and floral nose. Honey vanilla and more citrus tartness. Hop bitters on the palate into the finish makes the tongue pucker in a good way, wanting more. A little sweetness lingers at the tail end. Not something I'd drink every day, but a nice addition for your bar for the guest that wants something a little different.

Wood, hops, citrus, and some mustiness on the nose. Even a bit of vanilla. Palate is herbal (some coriander), even a little peaty (surprisingly). Bitterness towards the end, I guess like an IPA. The nose opens up after time, the IPA connection shines the most here. 6/1/17
