Tasting Notes
"The aroma is oak-forward with some toasted malt, apple skins, and pastry dough scents. The palate is just a touch sweet with rich malt along with tannic oak. The finish is dry, but not too dry with a lightly bitter taste. The finish could stick around a bit longer and the mid-palate has definitely lost a "freshness" but it is true to its age providing a rich, oak filled ending with a not-quite-burnt cookie flavor."
