Wood on the front, smoke on the end. It's a little cheating that so many flavors come from bourbon barrels, but the Scotch flavors are not hidden from view at all. It's like aged apples, cereal, all the striking points, bathed in the wood sugars.

Smell: sweet, rich, butter Palate: Smooth, sweet, spice, almost like pudding Finish: A little short, but some spice and floral

Delicious. Many desserts indeed. Pineapple lifesavers on the nose among other notes. And the palate detects sherry-infused yellow cake. The empty glass has that “can’t stop sniffing” highland-malty mealy aroma. Can’t even put down the empty glass.
