Reviewed November 21, 2021 (edited May 7, 2022)Color: is a straw to a light Caramel color Nose: The initial aroma hits with vanilla and sherry, dark fruits with an oak note. Dates, figs and honey. Pallet: a surprisingly viscous mouth feel. It’s mouth coating with vanilla, oak, and cherry almonds. The middle brings a light white pepper spice along with brown spices. The finish is medium with a honey vanilla after taste. A splash of water opens up some more floral notes as really brings the vanilla to the front. Over all a beautiful whisky very velvety and mouth coating and mouth watering. Easy sipping neat or with a cube.80.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed October 2, 2021 (edited February 7, 2022)I love Glenmorangie selections and typically find them fruit heavy and delicate. This Cadboll Estate batch 2 is a surprising and interesting departure. Throughout the majority of the taste there is a bit of spicy heat. Not an herbaceous or alcohol type heat but the type of heat that makes your mouth and inside of your cheeks tingle a bit. It isn't unpleasant. The initial taste is very sweet, as you'd expect from ex-bourbon casks. It tastes of creamy vanilla going down and leaves a lasting aftertaste that reminds me a bit of a Werther's original. It's not bad. Given how limited these Caboll releases are, its well worth it to buy a bottle yourself to try. -

Reviewed July 28, 2021The nose and initial palate are pretty much spot on the tasting notes I think. Little light and fruity with some creaminess. Where it falls off for me is something in the finish... It has this white wine flavor at the end that just doesn't do it for me. I'm going to revisit it and make sure my taste buds weren't going crazy that evening.
