Green River Bourbon

Thin and sweet with a nice amount of cinnamon and spice. The finish is fairly long for this proof. I saw others say this tasted young but I don’t get any of that. Overall not a bad bourbon at this price point.

Sweet corn on the nose with some pleasant cinnamon and tea leaf notes coming to play as well. Palate is a little thin and bready, but there’s a nice sweetness to it. The finish is predominantly peanuty and fairly easygoing, but lingers more than you may expect for a 90 proof. Not an outstanding pour, but a solid one.

I am pretty impressed for the age and the price. Very tasty and easy drinking. Slight sense of a young whiskey but very well done and priced right. It a tad sweet which I enjoy. I will definitely grab another and look forward to the cask strength and future releases. This will be amazing in a few years.

No depth. Tasted very young. Weak finish.
