Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Quick shot of tingly burn on the front of the tongue followed by smooth, almost toffee flavors across the back. Balanced and pretty smooth all things considered.

I honestly don't really get the hype with this one. The nose is fruity with a faint smell of pine wood, while the taste is super fruity and minty, with a bit of wood thrown in there. The finish is pleasant enough after a few seconds. All in all, its pleasant to sip but at $60-$70, I'd expect a big more.
