Henry McKenna 10 Year Bottled in Bond Bourbon

Very nice. Smooth with vanilla notes.

It’s just … warm … doesn’t go down too smooth.

Barrel No: 10899 Barreled on: 6-15-11

Nose is softly sweet with just the right amount of orange zest. The palate is easy with a hint of cherry. The finish lingers awhile with just the right amount of ethanol. Easy to see why this won awards recently.

Barrel 1833, barreled on 1-14-09. The first sip is sweet on the tongue, Carmel and toffee smooth. The spices coming out strong on the second sip, orange peel and peppermint. Nice coating, balanced spicy yet sweet! Yummy!! First time taster in this one!
