Fantastic notes of dark fruits like plum and black cherry.

Act 8, Scene 2 Ruddy deep amber color with sticky drops. Nose shows a burst of rye Barn funk mixed with juicy ripe fruits and a hint of smoke and eucalyptus. quite complex. Raisin, plum and other sweet fruits with big chest warmth up front. A bright citrus note and spice from the rye on the palate gives way to vanilla and chocolate covered cherries on the exhale. Finish is prunes, dark caramel, mulling spices and split oak with lingering notes of cacao and cigar box with a subtle return of tart fruit. This is big, juicy and complex. Long finish and lots of action. Really glad to be enjoying it at a time when the overnight lows are in the teens here in central VA.

Rye with a licorice finish. Really good.
