High West A Midwinter Night's Dram

Nose: bright fruit, citrus, classic rye spice, light oak Palate: oily on the palate, sweet sugar, mint, black pepper, raisin Overall: Excellent. I dont get as much as the port flavor, but maybe my palate is off. What I do get is an exceptional rye whiskey with an added sweetness that pairs so well. Highly reccomend.

Iiiiiinteresting for sure. The noise is an herbal sweet mint almost. Some light cotton Candy fruit almost. The pallete is very neutral at first, then you get the port sweetness then the rye punch. Its an odd mellow herbal sweetness almost licorice like without the bitterness. Very intriguing pour thats great to sit with, not your every day pour

Act 13 Scene 10 For me, this is more warm than spicy. The rye is strong, but so are the notes of fruit – currant, apple, plum, cherry. Baking spices are super evident. It’s avery nice winter whisky. Thanks, Michelle!
