High West A Midwinter Night's Dram

The nose is inviting.. saying come on in and stay awhile. The rye spice is mellow..not over powering. Chocolate spice finish. Simply lovely

Christmas in a whiskey bottle. Worth the price

The nose is very hot and alcoholic but there are some woody fruity spicey qualities behind the initial smell. The taste comes on hot and strong rye but changes to a sweeter combination of fruit and spices with wood undertones. Sweet woot finish. Water mellowed out the burn and brought out some maple but also watered down the finish.
