Tasting Notes
"There's a very perfumed stewed fruits aroma (which intensify with further tastes) along with a warm toasted barrel scent and rye bread. Mulled wine also comes to mind as there are sweet spices present as well. The palate has a medium full weightiness to it and while there's more mulled wine around the edges, the rye flavor is still at the core. The tequila is a bit harder to find, but it's there as an accent providing a gentle herbal quality. Ends on a bittersweet note with the spicy notes coming through, particularly ginger, black pepper, cloves, and cinnamon. A whiskey to have bundled up by the fire. "
