Highland Park 8 Year The MacPhail's Collection (Gordon & MacPhail)

This is different from what you usually get from HP. The usual combo of light orkney peat and sherry with a splash of brine are still there, but they’re tuned back noticeably. Its younger so you’re getting more of the distillery character and straight malt. The nose is very light, but the flavor is much more like a classic highland. Definitely interesting, and worth the $35 I think its close to a younger, lighter HP 12 (Viking’s Honor).
