Hochstadter's Slow & Low Rock & Rye (84 Proof)

One of my favorites!!! It is very sweet, but such a great taste!!! Recommended on the rocks.

First taste was amongst other whiskeys... not a fan. Very sweet and cloying with a strongly medicinal, bitter citrus rind taste. Later, after reading the label and approaching with a different frame of mind, it was much more enjoyable as an aperitif. More comparable with liqueurs or Drambuie than unadultered whiskeys.

Very easy to drink, though a bit sweet for me.
