Launched in late 2019, Hooghoudt RAW Genever is a 100% malt wine genever, specifically designed to mix with tonic. It is distilled from barley, wheat, rye and corn. Many traditional botanicals were used, including juniper berries, orange peel, licorice, star anise and cinnamon.

GeneverGenever is a juniper-flavored spirit which combines a botanically-flavored, neutral spirit with a maltwine. Only made in Belgium, the Netherlands, and in specific regions of France and Germany. Jonge genever is made with a maximum of 15% maltwine. Oude genever uses at least 15% of maltwine. Korenwijn genever uses at least 51% of maltwine.
Tasting Notes
"On the nose there's a lovely soft graininess and bright notes of lemon and orange zest, while the juniper is very subtle. It has an inherent sweetness (almost vanilla-esque) that's really enjoyable. The mouthfeel is on point, as this is super oily. It's the same elements that shine on the palate here, but with an added black pepperiness and a tinge of coriander."
