Water is added to bring the spirit down to as low as 37.5% ABV in the EU and 40% ABV in the US. It is usually filtered, often with charcoal, prior to bottling. It is almost always clear and unaged.

"The nose of this vodka immediately shows the white flower and sweet grass flavors of sugar cane but is slightly betrayed by a hint of alcoholic heat. The palate has admirable weight and hints of rock candy sweetness. The finish shows more sweetness but unfortunately is a bit dilute."
