Wood, wood, wood and more wood. I know there's some bourbon in here but I'll have to come back to this one and see if I can find it through the forest of oak casks it's hiding in.
UPDATE: I've let this sit for a while and have revisited. The overabundance of wood flavor still dominates this but I am getting more of the bourbon underneath. And when I get a glimpse of it, it's a great and sweet bourbon flavor. Unfortunately the oak influence is still depressingly overpowering. Not on my list of things to try again until they change their aging program. I wouldn't recommend this as a purchase, especially given the price. I got a bottle less then half-price at a clearance sale from my local liquor store - even at that drop this doesn't feel worth it.
