Tasting Notes
"This añejo tequila pours a crystal clear color as a result of its filtration, although on nosing the spirit there are very few of the category’s telltale aromas of vanilla and spice. Rather, the tequila smells of mint, jalapeño, and a bit of wood pulp — not unpleasant but certainly not typical. The palate seems a bit thin and lacks both oak and agave flavors. The finish has a light spice but is ultimately a bit dilute. This spirit has cool packaging and is perhaps a great memento from the eponymous bar but not much more than that."
