Jack Daniel's Tennessee Tasters' Selection High Angel's Share Barrels
Jack Daniel's // Tennessee, USA
High Angel's Share Barrels was barreled in January 2013 and yielded an unusually small amount of whiskey, hence the name. This is one of the first bottles in the Jack Daniel's Tennessee Tasters' Selection, a limited edition experimental series with bottles chosen by Jack Daniel's own master tasters. This bottling was selected by assistant master distiller & master taster Chris Fletcher. Around 24,000 375ml sized bottles were produced. Availability limited to the distillery and select Tennessee retailers from the end of October 2018.
TennesseeProduced in Tennessee; mash grain at least 51% corn; aged in new, charred oak barrels; filtered through maple charcoal prior to aging.
Cask Typenew, charred American oak
"The aroma of the whiskey is mix of savory and fruity highlighted by notes of dark vanilla, raw leather, banana bread and char smoke. Candied butterscotch and cinnamon red hots follow through on the taste. Moderately long finish. Try neat first and if you prefer, add some water or a large ice cube although the whiskey is enjoyable as is. A solid whiskey and one to seek out when visiting the distillery."
