A rich, Single Malt Scotch Whisky, by the Loch Lomond Distillery in Highlands, Scotland first matured in American white oak barrels, followed by extra finishing in casks that used to hold fortified Madeira wine.
It has a semi-sweet & nutty birth with notes of nutmeg & allspice; while a full & bold life adds more notes of nut, spices, new wood, peach, pear & dark fruits. that led to a rich & delicate death with notes of sugar & oak. June 2019 / August 2022
A friend gave me a 5cl bottle stating extremely rare, sace for a special evening. Well ive had it a few yeara and wanted something new on a friday so here we are…. This whisky packs a serious burn, added a small tock to mellow out and see the results, got more dark cherry and oak notes along with plum and date flavors. Definitely needs a couple small cubes or a rock to release the depths of flavor. Still burned a bit but brought out the depth and completely bringing out plum, dark cherry, oak, date, and honey notes.

One nice pour with notes of vanilla, honey, figs, white chocolate, strawberries, dates, pineapples, bananas, and raspberries. The more you let it sit the more Madeira sweetness comes out.
