INSÓLITO Blanco Tequila is a 100% blue agave tequila brand backed by American country band Midland in collaboration with brothers Octavio & Alberto Herrera, owners of Premium de Jalisco which makes the tequila. The distillery, located in the town of Mazamitla, Jalisco is the highest distillery in Mexico at an elevation of 7200 feet.
The blanco expression is made from a blend of Tequila Valley (20%) and Los Altos (80%) agaves. Available in Texas as of February 2020 with other markets expected to follow.

Tequila BlancoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is typically unaged , clear, and bottled straight after distillation. Sometimes rested in stainless steel up to 60 days and can also be aged in wood for no more than 30 days.

Tasting Notes
"For a tequila that blends agave from Jalisco's two defining growing regions, one might yearn for a bit more complexity. Mild orange peel and melon aromas introduce, but are followed by a more synthetic, rubbery note. Sweet notes of sherbert open the palate with some pleasant floral characters. A very light finish marked mostly by cane sugar."
