Batch # 117 Decent Maple Flavor, not bad, just not as much of a flavor profile as I would have hopped for. I’m assuming the complexity isn’t there because of the low proof

Nose: Sweet ethanol, little fruity Palate: nothing stands out to me Notes: tastes like a standard whiskey

Aroma - slighly oaky. Lots of youthful tones here. Quite a bit of herbal tea notes as well. Touch of cinnamon. Taste - where’s the flavor?! What the hell??? I feel the alcohol heat on my gums but there is absolutely nothing to this whiskey. Overall - not sure I’ve ever experienced this before. But there is nothing to this palate other than a slight alcohol burn. There is nothing from the beginning, nothing mid palate or in the finish. It is a head scratcher.. the maple isn’t even present.
