Jack Daniel's 14 Year Tennessee Whiskey (Batch 1)
Tennessee Whiskey
Jack Daniel's // Tennessee, USA
This Tennessee whiskey is the first 14 year-old expression in the brand's Aged Series. It's made with the same classic mash bill recipe as the others in the series as well as the flagship Old No. 7 expression (80% corn, 12% malted barley, 8% rye). After mellowing through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal, it's then aged in new, toasted and charred American white oak barrels.
Initially, the barrels were placed in the upper floors of the barrelhouse before being relocated to lower racks to extend its maturation. Bottled at barrel strength, it's available in limited quantities across the US beginning February 2025. (SRP $149.99/700ml).

Tasting Notes
"Tasting at barrel strength brings an intense aroma of charred oak, savory cornbread, and burnt cookies with a mild grassy note in the background. It's pretty tight and chewy on the palate, but there is a moderate amount of concentrated vanilla sweetness. With water the sweet maple is allowed to blossom on the nose. The midpalate has a mix of savory herbal and spiced flavors with the sweet flavors taking a backseat to the oak. Lengthy finish. "
