Jack Daniel's Eric Church Single Barrel Select

This was great. JD underrated.

I love Eric Church and bourbon so when I saw this it was a no-brainer. Its very good, tastes like southern banana pudding, which I enjoy.

chocolate peanut butter banana. Better than JD single barrel, low proof. Definitely tastes like JD

Peanuts, maple syrup, banana, tobacco. Not super smooth or very distinct from other JDs but decent to sip.

Nose - Leafy and nutty. Definitely savory. A little earthy and woody. Palate - Woodyness continues. Touches of cinnamon. Finish - Finish is consistent with the rest of the notes. Pretty solid jack.

Received this as a blind sample from an acquaintance. There’s definitely something of a funk on the nose and palate. I though it was kind of smoky so I thought maybe it was High West campfire. For me this is sub-par - not bad, but better exists.
