Jack Daniel's Tennessee Tasters' Jamaican Allspice

Reviewed October 24, 2023Strong, sweet aromas of baking spices in the nose. Initially sweet on the palette, followed by an intense, dryer burst of clove, nutmeg, allspice, and cinnamon, then dark stone fruit, like Italian plums, which lingers for a while. Finishes fairly dry. It’s definitely something out of the ordinary, and I’m glad I picked up a couple of bottles at the White Rabbit Bottle Shop in Lynchburg.37.5 USD per BottleThe White Rabbit Bottle Shop -

Reviewed January 14, 2022N - super sweet on the nose; typical vanilla and caramel but a little more pronounced; spices coming through P - milk chocolate (?), light mouthfeel, transitions to some spicy heat F - long sweet finish with more spice I like this one. Much better than typical Jack Daniel’s products in my opinion. A bold offering. Well done! -

Reviewed November 8, 2021Jack, but with a smoky, spiced rum finish. Bitterness was tamed with an ice cube, opening up a nice sweetness. Nice sipper! -

Reviewed October 22, 2021 (edited July 31, 2022)On a visit with some friends out of state, my buddy happened to visit the JD Distillery prior to me visiting and grabbed this Tasters series and shared with me. Baking spices of nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves, allspice (duh). Sweetness of brown sugar, caramel. First draw tingles the palate with a touch of sweetness. Buttery texture. Cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, milk chocolate, vanilla, honey and black tea. Wood and baking spices, brown sugar and vanilla fade out and the wood tannins leave the palate slightly dry. A nice, spicy JD. The proofing at 50% is spot on. A good sipper on an Autumn evening. I like the experimentation and the “daring “ to try different things. Sometimes things work. Sometimes they don’t. This works.
