Reviewed June 8, 2024 (edited September 8, 2024)Nose - Very fruity and peppery. Grape, cinnamon, peoper, blackberry, some nice smooth caramel notes come along with that dark berry fruit. Very nice and approachable nose. Palate - Whoah; Lots of sugary notes there, almost could pass as flavored good grief. Very berry forward with pure brown sugar oak and leather. Salted caramel as it opens. Finish - That salted caramel oak and leather kind of hang around with the finish to compliment the spicy cinnamon at the end. -

Reviewed May 17, 2024 (edited September 8, 2024)Wow. This is a very beautiful pour . Reminds me of another favorite of mine , Old Exra 7 Barrel proof. I even did a side by side and the notes were very similar. This edged it our with notes of butterscotch not present in OE7 . This deliveres on sodt oak , toffee. Butterscotch, sweetness but has notes of oak ., molasses and all dpice to keep the palate well balnced . Drinks dangerously easy for 105 oroof -

Reviewed May 15, 2024 (edited September 8, 2024)I really wanted to like this bourbon. But I can’t get past the price point. It’s a solid $35 bourbon that I could see going up against Knob Creek 120 or Wild Turkey 101 but it’s definitely not worth double that — even with the barrel proof. Nose: caramel, cinnamon, fruits Taste: vanilla and baking spices Finish: more cinnamon but short77.0 USD per Bottle
