Jameson Caskmates IPA Edition

Really a good kick above classic Jameson. Sweet citrus like taste. Goid whiskey at a reasonable price.

There’s definitely more going on here than in classic Jameson. There’s some light citrus and a bitter funky finish. Definitely enjoyable but it’s still a mild Irish. Not as much complexity or as good as the stout caskmates.

Taste starts out on a low spice note and then grows to a rich sweetness. Slight taste of hops and citrus, but it’s just a hint. The traditional Jameson flavor comes thru on the backend. Cost is for 375ml bottle.
