Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition

Malty, hint of chocolate. Dry finish.

This did not disappoint. Enjoyed it neat. Kinda creamy, notes of dark chocolate, and sweet on the finish.

This was on sale and the same price as standard Jameson, so I grabbed a bottle. Solid whiskey. It’s smell and taste is fuller and richer than the regular version. I don’t get as much of that distinct buttery note on the smell, but it’s nicely melded with the chocolatey flavors. It adds a hint of dark chocolate on the taste with some wood notes and a dry finish. It’s very drinkable and would make a solid every day pour. I’d love to try the IPA version too!
