I really enjoy this for what it is...solid bourbon. Has that nice Beam spice with a vanilla custard note and good oak. No its not complex or special but that's ok when you just want a good pour youre not gonna ponder over. I realize there are better cheaper options but I still come back to this in my rotation
It’s fine. I don’t always have a bottle on hand - but when I drink it - it’s good. Def better quality then white. It’s a standard, decent, nothing special bourbon.
On the nose it’s sweet with a classic Jim Beam smell. On the palate there is some spice that starts to bring heat as you move to the finish. The finish starts spicy but fades quickly leaving corn. It’s okay neat but is better in an old fashion.
