So this is quite nice in my opinion. It is surprisingly smooth, sweet, and tasty. Enough wood, subtle spice. Easy to chew.
There is a signature that only Jim Beam has in their flavor profile which I do not know how to describe other than ‘Jim Beam Taste’, and I am not sure that is redeeming, as much as unique. I think it must have something to do with the yeast they use in the fermentation steps.
Overall, I like it.
