Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year

I had not been too impressed with several of the Walkers that I had in the past but after multiple recommendations, I grabbed this one. It is wonderful. Hints of sweet peat through out compliment the amazing base of the blended single malts. This drinks a lot higher than the price point. Don’t dismiss this one.

Compared this in a blind taste against Blue Label. Green had more smoke on the nose with fruity depths Blue lacked. This is a complex blend with many layers and may be in discord with itself, each sip revealing something different. Smoke and spice both present. Green is more interesting than Blue, but ultimately Blue's my preference.

Let me start off by saying I’m not a whiskey person, even less a scotch person.. still I picked up a bottle of this just because all of my friends talked highly about Johnnie walker black label so I said, let me one up them by getting the green label. WOW, just Wow. Incredible throughout. The experience takes you through a rollercoaster of emotions. Smooth as hell and tasty too!
