Johnnie Walker Red Label

I find it tastes alright, but you can definitely taste the alacohol a lot. Otherwise it‘s really not bad. A friend of mine actually told me, as we tried a 10yo scotch, a 12yo scotch, and the red label, that she liked the red label best. But only if you leave the harshness of the alcohol out.

Straight maple syrup on the nose in the bottle. Light bodied with typical vanilla, honey, and oak flavors. Not too much burn.

a little peat, some honey hides just behind it. On the palate it’s a hint of pepper and light barley flavors. not much here
