Jura 10 Year

A lot of depth in flavor for a liquid that feels so thin. Vanilla dipped fruit sprinkled with spices and lightly smoked.

Quite smokey on the nose but still get some floral hints. A bit spicy on the palate but not unbearably so, then ushers in a nice smokiness that isn't too intense. Nice enough whiskey for easy drinking but nothing special

A little sweet, but also smokey and spicey in the back of the tongue. Good but a bit basic!

Reminds me of a light Highland Park. A little bit of orange peel, slight peat, caramel. There's a mustiness that borders on wet cardboard, but mostly stays just short of that. The flavors are light as expected for 40%, but it seems fairly priced at thirty-something dollars.

Nose: yeasty esters. Candied fruit. Sweet malt. Cereal. Palate: cereal. Light. Hints of sherry. Finish: thin. Light wood phenol
