A sipping rum extraordinaire. Wonderful flavor, slightly sweet, slightly spicy, and slight maple.

Absolutely spectacular rum! I sipped this like a single malt scotch. Needs nothing, no ice or even water, too good to mix. Smells great, sweet with a hint of maple and charred oak barrel, and juicy ripe berries. Delicate palate that’s lightly sweet and slightly spicy, with some fruitiness from the cognac influence. Velvety texture in the mouth, and it has a nice medium finish of gentle wood and molasses. It was a fair price and came in a cool red wooden box. Would make a great gift for the rum lover in your life.

Not as good as Kaniche XO. Almost comes across like a bourbon.
