Jenevers are what they produced first.

Nolet Distillery, established in 1691 in Schiedam, is the home to Ketel 1 Jenevers, and the well-known Ketel One Vodka as well as Nolet's Gin. Jenevers are what they produced first. Named for their copper pot-still #1, the oldest working still in Schiedam, their "modern style" or Jonge was first introduced in 1977.

Tasting Notes

"A savory warm breakfast cereal aroma (think Malt-O-Meal). The feeling in your mouth is full and soft with a moderate amount of oil. Slightly sweet, but it is not an obvious sweetness. Again, think breakfast cereal sweet. Juniper is faint. Slight sharpness in the middle there; just the alcohol telling you it's there. Pretty easy to drink. Maybe too easy? Not a bad thing, in our estimation."
