Kilbeggan Single Pot Still

Poured neat in a glencairn and rested 10 minutes. Nose is strongly malty and reminiscent of apple crumble with hints of hawthorn flower. The palate has a bit of honey sweetness followed by granola and mint, finishing with Sichuan peppercorn. This is a really interesting and tasty whiskey for the price.

Mellon jolly rancher and bubble gum on the nose. Follows through on the palate with the addition of cereals and green apple. Overall very fresh and clean.

Tasty pour with fruit, malt, biscuit and spice notes.

Nose: tart green apple, damp moss, a hint of lemon zest, and something floral. Palate: much of the same notes with a bit of spice and barrel char coming through. It's a nice one. Refreshing. Worth giving a try and good for the price point.
