Reviewed December 24, 2023This one is a bit slow. I recommend at least two glasses before making a judgement. After the first bite, it comes across very young and light. Sure, there's peat and smoke but also vanilla and orange. But there really does seem to be new depths with each sip and the vanilla and smoke seem to give way to citrus fruits and a more complex, buttery cream. I started my glass giving it a 3.25 and finished giving it a 3.75. Then i had another glass and wondered if even a 4.25 was warranted? I'll split the difference at 3.75 but you may easily find this a 4+ if you give it a long taste.65.0 USD per BottleNice France -

Reviewed December 22, 2023Nose: earthy peat and smoke, but its a slightly lighter more delicate variety. Honey, vanilla creme, heather. Slight cherry. Palate: lively, sweet, fruity elements come out here, a mild peat and smoke, but the malt here os beautiful. A light Caramel. Apple. Cream. Coconut? A bit oak. Chewy. A slight almond here maybe? Bright citrus comes out as you continue sipping. Finish: mild wood tannin, gently smooth and warming. Peat hangs for a bit.14.0 USD per PourCabezon Restaurant -
