Killowen Barántúil White Cognac Cask
This expression, which translates from Gaelic to "authentic" or "trustworthy", features the brand's own distillate. Using a flame-fed copper pot still with a worm tub condenser for the distillation, it's made from a mash bill of malted barley, unmalted barley, malted marris otter barley, oats, and wheat that is fermented with a combination of wild and cultured yeast.
It is matured for a minimum 3 years in a freshly-dumped ex-cognac cask made from American oak. Bottled without chill-filtration at at 61% ABV, it's available exclusively in the US as of March 2024.

Tasting Notes
"A whiff of barbecue smoke adds to a nose of golden apples, pear, and sandalwood. The palate is slightly metallic, with a hot cinnamon candy flavor coating other elements of fruit and spice. The finish is pleasantly funky, with a hot, spicy and smokey delivery that lingers on the tongue and throat. "
