Reviewed September 17, 2022Nose: deep dark fruits, sweet sherry light medicinal Taste: just a nice smooth mouth feel coming into honey plum medicinal sherry bomb. Finishing with a mediumsmooth, numb light leather sherry. I had this again with this year's 19 year release and I had to up the rating. This is a great speyside and I wish I could have bought another. -

Reviewed September 4, 2022Nose was acetone at first, resolving into rum raisin tarts and perfumy wood lacquer. Maybe cherry cola (allspice notes specifically)? Palate opens with a burst of wood spice, followed by honey sweetness with a touch of dark chocolate-like bitterness on the finish. The wood impact lingers, though the mouthfeel on drinking doesn’t strike as super enveloping.99.99 CAD per BottleCostco Wholesale -

Reviewed May 6, 2022Nose - dark fruit, light sherry. Taste - deep fruit carmel amd tang at first, then the sherry numb comes through. Not a sherry bomb but its def there. Finish- the sherry numb fades along with the sweetness. Pretty long finish. This is a great value non peated sherry cask scotch. It might not beat some other 20's but its cheaper then some 12's and 8's. -

Reviewed December 23, 2021Love it! Not as fruity as I was expecting but a bold taste. A bit buttery at the start. Good value for the non wealthy whisky aficionado who wants to give a 20yr old a go!😉 -

Reviewed November 26, 2021 (edited May 17, 2022)This scotch is honey/carmely and easy drinking. It’s a bit less of a sherry bomb than the 23 (2020) but sweeter than the 24 (2021). -

Reviewed November 19, 2021Red, dark fruit. That musty kind of funk. A little bit of maple.
