Kirkland 20 Year Speyside Single Malt Sherry Cask Finish

Nose: deep dark fruits, sweet sherry light medicinal Taste: just a nice smooth mouth feel coming into honey plum medicinal sherry bomb. Finishing with a mediumsmooth, numb light leather sherry. I had this again with this year's 19 year release and I had to up the rating. This is a great speyside and I wish I could have bought another.

Nose was acetone at first, resolving into rum raisin tarts and perfumy wood lacquer. Maybe cherry cola (allspice notes specifically)? Palate opens with a burst of wood spice, followed by honey sweetness with a touch of dark chocolate-like bitterness on the finish. The wood impact lingers, though the mouthfeel on drinking doesn’t strike as super enveloping.

Nose - dark fruit, light sherry. Taste - deep fruit carmel amd tang at first, then the sherry numb comes through. Not a sherry bomb but its def there. Finish- the sherry numb fades along with the sweetness. Pretty long finish. This is a great value non peated sherry cask scotch. It might not beat some other 20's but its cheaper then some 12's and 8's.
