Knob Creek 9 Year Small Batch Bourbon

Nose is a woody smoke with hint of mushroom. Front of palate is quite spicey and rye forward with strong pepper spice. As it works its way back it smooths to a sweet vanilla with a slightly spicey burn. Overall if you like a high rye count there is much to like. Not really my favorite but still a good sipper when in mood for a bit more spice.

Spicy start with lingering throughout, vanilla and satisfying middle, taste stays with you. Enjoyable

Nose: boozy, cherries, apples Palate: vanilla, butterscotch, nuts Finish: mild burn, more vanilla, slight oak A bit of burn on this, does much better with a few drops of water.
