Knob Creek 9 Year Small Batch Bourbon

Too much burn, at least tonight. Maybe it’s me.

Nose rich cedar, maple syrup, sour cherries, grapes. Body is heavy caramel, syrup, hint of grape musk. Finish is salty with white pepper, caramel, and a bit more of that grape flavor lingering on. Nose is my favorite part of this drink. I forget how good this basic bourbon is.

Not a fan. No depth - alcohol overshadowed taste
